About Me

My journey into makeup began long before I ever picked up a professional brush. As a little girl in South Africa, I’d sneak into my mother’s makeup drawer and transform my young face into what I thought was pure beauty. It wasn’t perfect, far from it, but even then, I understood the power of transformation. Not just how makeup could make someone look different, but how it could make them feel different. That feeling has stayed with me ever since. After finishing school, I followed that passion to the International Academy of Health and Skincare, where I completed a comprehensive four-year degree in Somatology, the scientific and holistic study of the body.

There, I developed a deep understanding of skincare, anatomy and the kind of detail and care required to truly work with people’s faces and bodies in a way that’s both technical and nurturing. My professional career began in the breathtaking Franschhoek wine valley, where I worked at Zorgvliet Spa and began specialising in bridal makeup for weddings at the beautiful Zorgvliet Wine Estate. Those early wedding mornings, the nervous brides, the joyful bridal parties, the sense of something magical just beginning sealed my love for bridal beauty. I knew I had found my space.

Over the years, I’ve continued to deepen my training. I completed a Certificate III in Make-Up and expanded into lash artistry with certifications in Classic and Volume Lash Extensions. I’ve had the privilege of working alongside Lisa Brown on weddings and editorial shoots both locally and internationally. But one of the most meaningful moments of my career came when I opened my own bridal hair and makeup studio, a dream that had lived in my heart for many years.

Five years ago, my family and I immigrated to the Central Coast of NSW. Starting fresh in a new country was both exciting and challenging, but I’ve been so grateful to grow a strong and loyal client base here on the Central Coast and in Sydney. It’s become home, not just for my business, but for my family too. When I’m not working with brides, you’ll find me with my greatest loves: my husband and our two beautiful children. They are the heartbeat behind everything I do. Being a wife and a mother has only deepened my connection to the work I do, reminding me that beauty isn’t just something we wear, it’s something we feel, something we carry, and something we deserve to celebrate.

I’ve now been working in this industry for over ten years, and it still brings me the same joy it did when I first began. I bring a calm and kind energy to every wedding morning, ensuring that each person in the room feels heard, seen, and taken care of. Whether you’re walking down the aisle in a grand cathedral or saying “I do” on a quiet beach, I’m here to make sure you feel your best from the inside out. Because beauty is personal, it’s emotional. With over a decade of international experience and a foundation in somatology and bridal artistry, we specialise in crafting elegant hair, makeup, and lash designs that highlight your natural beauty. As a passionate founder and educator, I strive to make every woman feel like a princess, reminding her that real beauty springs from confidence and self‑love. Through personalised services and mentoring opportunities via our Académie, we are dedicated to uplifting both our clients and aspiring artists, ensuring every woman who works with us walks away feeling beautiful inside and out.
